Maureen was diagnosed with non smoking related lung cancer on 30th July 08, she fought a long hard battle with the disease and was always positive and very brave. Unfortunately an infection of the lungs added to the advancement of the cancer meant that her body could no longer cope and she passed away on Sunday 7th December 08. Maureen was a wonderful lady who loved her family dearly, as they all did her. We all miss her so very much and she will always be with us in our thoughts. We have set up this fund so that we can hopefully help to be able to diagnose this evil disease earlier so this doesnt have to happen to them.
